Finally, actress Rani Mukerji can heave a sigh of relief. After a year of speculation, her director beau Aditya Chopra has taken the step of filing for divorce from wife Payal Khanna. According to The Times of India, the petition is a two-page document where both parties have cited irreconcilable differences.

It's a mutual consent divorce petition which requires the concerned couple to wait for six months before finally parting ways. Well, the sixth month in question is May 2008 and we’re sure Aditya is just waiting for it.

TOI reports that "their lawyer advised them and they agreed not to mention the terms of agreement in the court documents, opting instead for an out-of-court arrangement."

Yash and Pamela Chopra, Aditya's parents, are apparently very fond of their daughter-in-law and not happy with their son's decision to marry actress Rani Mukerji. No wonder then, Payal has reportedly been given a home as well as several crore rupees to take care of herself.

Don't be rude or interrupt others who are having a conversation. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. Try and write in English and please, stick to the point!
