The latest on superstar Kamala Haasan is that he will play the role of US President George W Bush in his forthcoming Tamil film called Dasavataram.

The four-time National Award-winning actor has been studying Bush's speech, gait and mannerisms with the help of compact discs and computer graphics for the past two weeks.

And that is not all — he will play nine more roles in the same film. Make-up artists from the US and Britain are helping the actor get the right look for the roles.

Meanwhile, a replica of the White House has been erected in Chennai to bring an authentic look for the film. The total cost of the set is estimated to be Rs five million.

The film is being made on a mega budget of Rs 500 million. KS Ravikumar will be directing Dasavataram, which is set for a Diwali release.
