Asin to play lead opposite Kamal Haasan

The actress is all set for her debut English film

Asin made her entry into films with the Malayalam movie Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001. Later she also made her presence felt in Telugu films. But the lady was determined to conquer new territories. So she ventured into Tamil films and became a successful actress in Tamil film industry.

Currently, she is completing her last two Tamil films has now shifted base to Mumbai. Asin is residing in Lokhandwala and working diligently on the Hindi remake of her Tamil blockbuster Ghajini with Aamir Khan in the lead. This will be followed Rakeysh Mehra’s Delhi-6 starring Siddarth in the lead.

She has also been signed for an English movie, The Night 3 Step by Bharat Bali based on a story by MT Vasudevan Nair. It is believed the director is trying to rope in Kamal Haasan or Mohanlal for the male lead.
