Amrita-Shreyas talk about Sajjanpur

Shyam Benegal's first ever comedy flick Welcome to Sajjanpur will hit the theatres this month.

CNN-IBN caught with the star cast on the set of a reality television show. They were dressed in the attires they are wearing in their movie.

"We came to the sets in the attire we have in the film to give an essence of the film to the audience," says actor Amirta rao.

The film is directed by veteran filmmaker Shyam Benegal.

Welcome to Sajjanpur is his first out and out comedy ever centering around a village where every character is unique and actor Shreyas Talpade plays the key role in the film.

"I play the role of a letter writer, who becomes a letter writer by default and then how the other people in the village become a part of the plot," says Shreyas.

"You have never seen Shyamda this way, you will come out of the theatres with a smile," adds Shreyas promising that his forthcoming movie is worth watching.
